Business is the means for creating opportunity around the world, and CIU’s commitment to global engagement prepares you for every challenge in the international business environment. You will learn the language of global business, engage with complex interconnected global issues, gain opportunities to study and travel abroad for a week, and become an empowered global citizen.
The Global Immersion Program is an optional trip designed for practical application, students have the opportunity to learn from local leaders, immerse themselves in another culture, and build strong relationships with other CIU students.
2022 Destination: Costa Rica
Students will have the opportunity to support local social enterprises and entrepreneurs that promote social and economic solidarity. Visit a local enterprise and learn their business model, while also helping give business advice and training.
