ACCREDITATION
California InterContinental University’s programs are accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC).
The Accrediting Commission of DETC is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency and it is also a recognized member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation [CHEA].

California InterContinental University has full institutional approval from the State of California Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education to grant advanced degrees.

STATE APPROVAL
California InterContinental University has received approval to operate as a private for-profit institution from the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education [BPPE], a division of the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs.
An approval to operate means that the Bureau has determined and certified that the institution meets the minimum standards for integrity, financial stability, and educational quality, including the offering of bona fide instruction by qualified faculty and the appropriate assessment of students’ achievement prior to, during, and at the end of its programs.
