Bachelor Programs

To receive a Bachelor's degree from CalUniversity, a student must have achieved and demonstrated learning retention, knowledge and understanding in General Education and also in the designated field of study. General Education (GE) courses introduce students to the English Language, Communication, Critical Thinking, Life and Physical Sciences and Mathematics, Arts, Philosophy and Humanities, Sociology, Economics and Political, and Behavioral Science. General Education bestows students with intellectual and academic exposure in diverse areas for lifelong learning and also provides them with a foundational ability to read, write, communicate and exhibit critical thinking for individual growth. Each Bachelor's degree is awarded to students who have completed minimally 120 Credit Units of courses listed in each appropriate program.

Transferring College Credits

Maximize transfer credit by combining previous college credits, generous life experience credits and the opportunity to challenge and test out of courses.

  • Students can transfer up to a maximum of 90 units to CalUniversity
  • Earn up to 30 units from Life Experience
  • Earn up to 9 units via Challenge exams
  • Utilize CLEP, DANTES & EXCELSIOR to speed up your degree completion
