RAPID™
The RAPID™ delivery model is designed for today’s computer-savvy technically oriented adult Learners who need more control of the time and place for learning. It features a structured learning path that is enhanced by modern instructional design using the latest in e-learning methodologies. The use of adaptive learning techniques contributes to the sound instructional design for career-oriented professionals who prefer indirect “Internet based Education” that is flexible and innovative. The online programs are made available at the CalUniversity Online LearnCenter™.
- Accelerated Undergraduate Academic Track (RAPID™ Delivery Mode): In this track, undergraduate students can complete a Bachelor’s degree program in 3.0 academic years or 2.3 calendar years. They will carry a maximal average academic load of 6.7 units per Term for 18 terms. Students cannot be granted a Bachelor degree with less than 3.0 academic years or 2.3 calendar years of study.
- Accelerated Graduate/Doctorate Academic Track (RAPID™ Delivery Mode): In this track, graduate students can complete a Master’s degree program in 1.5 academic years or 1.1 calendar years or Doctorate degree program in 2 academic years or 1.6 calendar years. This includes time for Capstone Project, Thesis or Dissertation Preparation. Graduate students will carry an average academic load of six (6) units per Term for 6 Terms with an additional 3 terms for Capstone Project, Thesis or Dissertation Preparation. Students cannot be granted a Master’s or a Doctorate degree with less than 1.5 academic years or 1.0 calendar year of study.
- Accelerated Dual Degree Academic Track (RAPID™ Delivery Mode): In this track, graduate students can complete a dual Master’s and Doctorate degree programs in 2.8 academic years or 2 calendar years. This includes time for Capstone Project, Thesis or Preparation. Graduate students will carry an average academic load of six (6) units per Term for 10 Terms with an additional 4 terms for Capstone Project, Thesis or Dissertation Preparation. Students cannot be granted the Master’s and Doctorate degrees with less than 2.8 academic years or 2 calendar years of study.
