Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE)
California Intercontinental University has received approval to operate as a private for-profit institution from the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education [BPPE], a division of the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs.
An approval to operate means that the Bureau has determined and certified that the institution meets the minimum standards for integrity, financial stability, and educational quality, including the offering of bona fide instruction by qualified faculty and the appropriate assessment of students’ achievement prior to, during, and at the end of its programs.

Military Friendly Online Degree Programs
United States Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA)
California Intercontinental University offers education programs to students eligible to receive VA education benefits. For answers to questions regarding eligibility for various entitlement categories, call the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) at (888) 452-4551.
Concurrent Admissions Program (ConAp)
California Intercontinental University, is participating in the Army Concurrent Admissions Program (ConAP). As a participating university, California Intercontinental University, along with other member colleges, will work in partnership with the Army Recruiting Command and Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC) to aide in the enrollment of active duty and veteran soldiers and increase the use of GI Bill education benefits.
Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES)
California Intercontinental University (CALUNIVERSITY) is affiliated with DANTES, an organization that provides high-quality, valuable educational opportunities to service members and their families. DANTES also helps military personnel achieve their professional and personal education goals, provides consolidated management of programs to prevent duplication of efforts among the Services and supports DoD’s recruitment, retention and transition efforts.
